Darian + Danielle

There are a few places that have been on my “wedding photography venue list” for a few years now and Snowshoe Resort has always been one of the top contenders. I had one close to it a couple years ago, but it didn’t really count. So when Danielle told me they were having their wedding at the Mountain Lodge up at Snowshoe, I may or may not have cried a little. I’ve known Danielle from our young softball playing days and I was over the moon that her and Darian, who is very kind by the way, chose me to photograph their special day. Their whole wedding day was simply wonderful and I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I do!

Wade + Ashley

Wade and Ashley met while stationed together on their first ship in San Diego. Five years later, Wade proposed in the most epic way possible on top of Mt. Rainer.

When Ashley contacted me awhile back about doing her and Wade’s wedding, I was excited to know they had chosen Triple J Farms as their venue. Being all the way in Washington state, Ashley did the unthinkable and did everything from across the country with some help from folks back home. Everything about their wedding day was just beautiful. Even the unexpected lightening bolts that were generously flashing before our eyes. Here are some detail shots from throughout the day.

These wonderful people/businesses made this day all the more amazing…

Jacob + Taylor

Long time no see! I can’t believe it’s been 7 months since I blogged a wedding. It was wonderful getting to start back up with the Baker wedding in late May. Jacob and Taylor are amazing and I loved the unique touches that were incorporated throughout the day. The butterflies were in remembrance to Jacob’s late grandma, who is greatly missed and loved. Jacob and Taylor were married in a sweet church in beautiful Fort Springs, followed by a laid back reception on the family farm.

Brian + Amy

Wow! Exciting things have happened since Amy and Brian’s amazing wedding, hence the delay on their blog posting. My family and I have welcomed a new addition to our family, baby Agee! He was born almost 3 weeks ago and I had forgotten how quick the first few weeks can go with lack of sleep. But all is well and I am excited to share some images from the Bills’ beautiful wedding day! Thanks to Brian and Amy for being so incredible!

Devin + Ashley

My blog game is weak and I apologize.

Hurricane Florence definitely kept many folks guessing of what was to come the weekend of September 15th here in West Virginia. Thankfully only some rain had came and went. You wouldn’t have known though, by looking at Devin and Ashley and how they held themselves with poise. Everything came together so beautifully and I still think her dress is a top 3 of mine.

The bride and her girls started their morning getting ready at the stunning Willow Bend Bed and Breakfast in Union. So quaint and hidden, it was the perfect place to enjoy the morning of the big day! Friends and Family were a tremendous help I’m sure to get the ceremony and reception venues ready from the change of plans due to weather. I don’t think anyone would have known otherwise, everything was just beautiful from the sweet church to the property where the reception was held. The night ended with dancing and a glow stick exit, which was a unique first for me. Congratulations again to Devin and Ashley!
